A new baby care brand reached ¥1.25M GMV in 1 single day

While many retail brands are trying different ways to boost sales, products that target female consumers have come up with significant GMV growth in the past few years. A new baby food supplement brand in China called Deer Blue has reached a daily GMV of ¥1.25M in just 51 days since its launch. 


More than 60% of Xiaohongshu and Weibo users are female, while they are interested in topics and products related to skincare, clothing, and Weddings accessories. Brand owners can target female users with particular needs and interests to enhance the ad performances.



Female users in Xiaohongshu prefer products with higher quality

Over 300 million netizens in China learn about brands and products via articles and live streaming of Xiaohongshu. Xiaohongshu is one of the most influential online communities of product sharing. 

88.37% of Xiaohongshu users are between 18 to 34 years old, while 90.41 of them are females in the workplace. These female netizens have a higher ability to pursue quality lives, such that promoting in Xiaohongshu can increase the awareness of a brand to these elite female users in China.
